● Application routing

Implements policy routing based on the source IP address, destination IP address, protocol, and time.

Supports the recognition capability based on the application layer. Supports P2P and video content distribution through specified links.

Directing traffic to specified links based on different URL addresses.

● Link load

Supports inbound and outbound link load to improve the bandwidth usage of multilinks.

Supports automatically selecting the optimal link based on access objectives through the built-in multi-carrier route.

Supports DNS proxy to prevent uneven link use caused by incorrect DNS settings.

Implements the intelligent DNS function and ensures the IP address of the related server is returned based on the carrier of a user. Dynamically selects the link egress based on delay and packet loss of link load.

Supports link health check based on TCP, HTTP, and ICMP.

Supports selective round robin, weighted round robin, least connection, weighted least connection, static proximity, dynamic proximity, global availability, alternative IP address, minimum traffic, and minimum bandwidth load balancing algorithms.

● Global load

Supports high availability and redundancy of remote data centers.

Supports global synchronization of configuration and status information.

Selects the optimal site based on area proximity, static proximity, dynamic proximity, weight, and server quantity. Selects the optimal node among data center nodes.

In DNS-based mode, implements traffic directing between data centers located in different areas.

Supports IP Anycast and HTTP protocol redirection.

Application system acceleration

● SSL offload and TCP link multiplexing

Provides SSL proxy, termination, and uninstallation functions. Supports SSL hardware acceleration and session persistence.

Supports more than 10:1 TCP link multiplexing on the server side to reduce the pressure that the server system needs to maintain a large number of links.

● Cache and content compression

Memory-based static and dynamic HTTP cache. Completely compatible with the HTTP 1.1 protocol.

Supports compression and optimization of multiple file formats, greatly reduces server pressure, shortens resource downloading time, improves efficiency, and processes high performance compressed data through hardware acceleration chips.

● Single-side TCP acceleration

Supports the asymmetrically deployed transfer protocol optimization technology to enable users to access application services faster without installing any plug-in and software on the end-user devices.

● HTTP pipelining

HTTP pipelining is a technology in which multiple HTTP requests are sent on a single TCP connection without waiting for the corresponding responses. The pipelining of requests result in a dramatic improvement in the loading time of browsers, especially over high lag/latency connection situations.

● Supporting SPDY

Supports the SPDY protocol. SPDY supports the compression and optimization of multiple file formats through multiplexing, request prioritization, and HTTP header compression, to greatly decrease server pressure, shorten resource downloading time, improve efficiency, and reduce page loading time by 50%.

Security and protection

● Network firewall

Detects and prevents SYN Flood, Jolt2, Land-base, ping of death, tear drop, WinNuke, Smurf, TCP flag, ARP attacks, TCP scanning, UDP scanning, and ping scanning.

Supports access control based on the source IP address, destination IP address, source port, destination port, protocol type, and time.

● Application firewall

Detects SQL injection attacks and XSS attacks for HTTP. Protects user websites and ensures secure and available delivery.

Supports access control based on the HTTP head, cookie, request rate, VS address, and URL. Provides the application level access control function.

Prevents CC attacks based on the proxy mode.

Virtualization and IPv6

● Virtualization

Hypervisor-based virtualization virtualizes one application delivery device into multiple devices. Multiple virtual systems can operate separately at the same time.

Supports working together with VMware vSphere to automatically discover, deploy, and remove virtual hosts.

● Transition from IPv4 to IPv6

Supports smooth IPv4-to-IPv6 transition and IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack function. Supports the separated IPv4 routing protocol and IPv6 routing protocol.

Supports NAT 66 and IPv6/IPv4 translation policy technologies, including NAT-PT and dynamic NAT-PT (based on RFC 2766).

Supports IPv6 address-based load balancing algorithms, including round robin, ratio, priority, least connection, response time, and hash algorithms.

HA high reliability assurance and network protocol support

● HA high reliability and device cluster

HA active-active mode and active-standby mode supports session synchronization and quick switch based on interface, VLAN, and system faults.
